Welcome to TRS :)

1992 was the same as 1989, in 1993 there was a change, separate turn signal bulbs

There will be a Brown wire for the 2 tail lights(park lights) and license plate light
Then a Light Green/orange stripe wire for the Left turn/brake light(drivers side)
An Orange/light blue stripe for right side turn/brake light

And a Black/pink stripe wire for both Reverse lights

I would test voltages as you go, if wires "burnt/melted" there may be a short some where on one of the wires

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

yea i found a open ground on the trailer lights that may have been causing a issue, but i plan on testing them part of it was my fault for using to high of a fuse when the one popped, it was my only spare

Bummer

Yes, when the fuse rating is too high then the wire becomes the fuse, lol
