Hey all,

Well I'm building up a 302 for a street truck and the front end on my truck is just lacking that aggressive look I want. I've read up on swapping the front end out for a 01-03 edge and I'm looking for any ideas you have for a better front end I can put on before I swap the new engine in. Thanks!

I lowered the truck about 3/5 after this pic was taken.

Put some "eyebrows" on it. They make the headlights look like theyre more angular and aggresive. And put some big ass drag slicks on the rear.

What kind of racing are you looking to do? Time attack where you can put 4H to some good use?

Have you thought of an Explorer front clip swap? It takes a little fab work to get the fenders to match the doors but gives a totally different look.

I think the edge hood, edge black honeycomb grill, the newer headlights(maybe black around the reflectors), and a body matched bumper would look good. Just don't forget to get the stone guard that goes around the hood and under the new style headlights. Maybe cut out the fog light holes and run brake ducts(fair them in and make em look nice)

And if you want to get really wild the later years sonic blue would look sweet with the black accents.

And keep the flare side. For the love of god please keep the flare side.

hey guys sorry for the wait, haven't checked the forum in awhile. I do plan on putting 10.5 on the rear maybe bigger. I do like the idea of a mesh grille I hate being able to see whats behind it. I thought of doing the mesh grille and painting the bumper blue leave the valence black. I have to look into the "eyebrows" sounds like it could be cool. I've decided against doing a front clip swap tho.
