Looking for opinions on going from c4 to c6 in my v8 swap

Hey guys im looking for some advice on switching from c4 to a c6 trans i really like the tci street fighter c6 as i had nothing but good luck with them and they lasted threw my heavy foot. Theres a c4 in my 85 ranger right now that i just picked up.

I poop in the furnace.
I'm a big fan of the c6 because like you I've beat them to death, but behind 429s and 460s. BUT on a small block you gotta realize the c6 kills quite a bit more hp than the c4 and a c4 is plenty strong enough for a small block build.

I say stay with the c4... just my humble opinion. They can take a beating too and have just as many if not more upgrades available. The only time I'd say no way to a c4 is on a big block.

Thanks i was looking at the power loss and its about 55 to 60hp for the c6 and about 25 for the c4 think ill just build my c4. I dont think i could squeeze a big block in there with a shoe horn lol.

People have done larger engine swaps lol. There's a guy on here doing a 3.5 v6 ecoboost swap which is way bigger than a big block pushrod engine.
