looking for advice

My 2010 ford ranger needs an ECU WE7118881A. Its difficult to get this one from my area. However, I'm seeing WE7218881A available online. Description says that it is for the same model I own. Can anyone advice me as to whether it will work in place of my WE71. I'm aware that there will be need for reprogramming, for which ever one I buy. But are these numbers compatible. Help please!!! Anyone

I think you have a T6 Ranger(aka BT-50), made in South Africa, so its not the same 2010 Ranger we have, made in North America
Ours are smaller and have different ECUs(engine computers)

There are some South African Ranger forums in english
And try Australian Ranger forums, also in english, they have the same Model of Ranger, but made in Asia
