Wusup guys, Ive been debating between permanently locking my PVH or getting some AVM's (in the future):dunno:. I dont really mudd or go offroad that often, But I can't drive comfortbly through mud puddles or very loose dirt knowin that these PVH wont work when I need them. Theyre not even working now, which is exactly my point. But my concern is, If i permanently lock them will it harm anything? I cant really offord messing something up nor buying some AVM lockers at this time...:bawling: Please let me know what can I do.:icon_thumby:

Also if anyone has done this whats the pros/cons of the perm lock. Thanx:icon_thumby:

It's not necessarily permanent. Before I got my AVM's I would just use 2 flat head screw drivers to twist the cap on and off and lock and unlock them by hand. I could do both in less than a minute it's no big deal. If you permanently lock them it won't hurt anything anyway. All the rangers from 2000 - present are locked as they have a live axle setup. If you have some spare change get the AVM's otherwise you can accomplish the same thing for free with the same results.
