Ok sorry for the misinformation but I had to move the truck and I towed it about 20ft and I figured what the hell I will try to start it and what it started and idled. So I moved it and tried to start it and it seems to be working now everytime I try. But with the old engine in it towards the end of its life i would have to role the truck a few feet to start it every other time or so. For whatever reason I would try and start it everything would come on but no crank, like a flat spot in the armature of the starter. Well with the new engine I had to use the existing starter. So I am wondering if it is a dead spot in the starter?
