Add more preload to the factory torsion bars. Check out the tech library for more info.

yeaa i thought about that but i dont want a rough ride and ive heard of some people having VERY bad expierences with that. like breaking bolts or the actual bar when hitting a big bump. just sounds a little risky.. have you ever done it?

Yes, I lifted my truck 1 1/2". Cranking down on the adjuster bolts too much will result in broken parts and very fast wear on CV shafts and ball joints.

When you crank the factory torsion keys, you essentially twist the rear of the shaft more. When you install "lift keys" you do the exact same thing. The only difference is you spend $100 more with the keys. It will be slightly rougher, and I suggest upgrading the shocks (as it helped me out) but a 1 1/2 lift with keys or with more applied pressure to the stockers will result in the same appearance, ride quality, ect...

Don't waste money on keys.

Twisting your torsions, or using keys it gonna ride more rough than stock. Nature of the beast b/c either method is achieving the same thing (one just is better at depleting your wallet).

If you can live with a bit more rough of a ride *hey its a truck remember?* twist 'em, and have an alignment done. Nextel. Done.
