Just bought my Ranger and love it! But I cannot stand the factory rake and would like larger A/T. I definitely want it as level as possible and I’ve seen a lot of 2.5” and 3”. Is 2.5” enough to level? Looking to put 265/70’s on it with my factory 17’s. I’m looking specifically into the MaxTrac 2.5 level with 1.5” spacers. Will this level and allow enough clearance?? Thanks!

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Take a tape and measure from the ground to the middle of the wheel arch in the front and back, the difference between the two is what you want as far as sizing.

Can't help on tires. Someone else can though.

The site owner posted a thread on the available leveling kits.

As far as tires, he found that 265/70R17 was pretty much the max with the OEM wheels and suspension clearance. He ran Cooper STTs on an extensive trail run across the US and was very happy with them.

2.5" Level
2.5 will get you close. I have the 2.5 and if I wanted perfectly level would have had to go with the 3. Since I tow occasionally and have weight in the rear, the 2.5 is perfect. the tires should no be an issue with the 2.5 level in place.
