I was kind of half assed just blowin ya shit. I actually kinda sorta like the FJ. For some reason.You are right, Rusty. Toyotas have that rep. I've worked on a few from the 90s that were gone. Mine doesn't have any rust in the frame or body, but lots of the fasteners I've had to remove under the truck have broken off and had to be drilled out. It's like the bolts under there are made of chalk.
I'm a Ford Ranger guy, not a Toyota guy. I just call it how I see it.
Still a bit to mall crawler for my tastes though. Most of my opinions are outdated ill admit, however seems most japanese trucks/SUVs just, arnt built as stout as the american stuff.
That goes for everything. Including power.
I do remember back in the day though you saying your pilot would of outwheeled my 1st gen expedition though stock for stock. Seems that one got slightly heated.
