Leak - wet headliner

Dammit.

99 Mazda B2500 standard cab.

Replaced the cab-mount stop light and it's still leaking. Thinking it's the drip-rail corner trim pieces. How hard is the headliner to get out of these things, and what have you used to seal the bolt holes (or however it's fastened in)?

I would start by removing the headliner and get a hose and see where the water is coming in at. once you know where the leak is you can temporarily seal it with a good sealant. in the RV industry we use Dega seal, its like silicone on steroids. its 10 times stronger than silicone and doesn't peel as easy. its about 10-13 dollars a tube. that's where I would start.

FWIW I have only ever heard of the headliner getting wet from the third brakelight. Drop the headliner and get someone in the cab to look for leaks while you pinpoint check things with a garden hose.

No experience with any of this in your year of truck, mine is vastly different. From the factory mine didn't even have a headliner.

I had a leak too.....just apply silicone to the gasket on both sides-
