I have been looking at replacing the original leaf springs on my 1983 Ranger. My friend has a brandnew set that he originally bought for his 1987...but he wrecked it before he got to install them. I can get the 1987 leaf springs really cheap....
However, according to http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/leaf-springs/truck-suv/ford/ranger?gclid=CL34uu2_kbsCFSHNOgodHWQAIA. They say won't fit....
Ones he bought are Model:43-781HD
So....what makes the 1983-1985 so unique here...
Thanks
