I tried downloading the LAN and WIFI drivers from Toshiba and installing them, but it still does the same thing, it "sees" the LAN and will send packets all day long, but it doesn't receive anything. And when I turn the WIFI on, it doesn't do a thing. Got any other ideas? I hope I didn't mess anything up opening the case to clean it (I've had my T-22 apart several times for cleaning with no ill effects, but it was easier to open).

I used to be hardcore FF, but not so much anymore. I've moved to Opera because it works better for me - I can navigate faster among other features. But I do know to use IE for updates.

First on the drivers... I just ressurected the T22 that was sitting on my
window sill....

After discovering that the dead T20 I had was really dead,
it seems the drive controller on the MoBo died because it
refuses to recognize ANY hard drive (even the original factory
drive with Win2000 that still works on the T22)

So I robbed the RAM out of the T20 for the T22.
and tried to clone the OEM 10gb drive to a 60gb drive I had loose
Four attempts and all the clones refused to work.... Hmmm...

Then I got ticked off and mounted the 60gb in the T22 and fed it a "Corporate"
Windows XP-Pro (SP3) disc and that refused to load... at that point I yanked the optical drive... PRESTO!

Then after cloning the 10gb to the 60gb I tried getting the NIC working........

Seems the Modem/Network card was DEAD.

Nice to have a spare...

At this point I'll tell you if your WiFi card is dead it wouldn't be the first.

Remember that a WiFi card is a radio transceiver and they simply don't live forever.
So failing any other solution try a different internal WiFi card.
