I like the chain idea, i was thinking about a turnbuckle but if you did it right, a chain would allow some movement without letting it go too far. Might be kinda loud with all that chain rattling around, but it's probably not gonna be especially quiet anyways.

I had to chop up the air box, it was all melty from the proximity to the turbo. Well, i had to make room for a valve cover anyways. I've got my "proof of concept" 3d printed airbox patch done. I'm pretty sure the air box is some sort of filled polypropylene, which you just can't glue or solvent weld, so the current plan is to use rivets with silicone or something underneath. I'll have to print one out of something a little more resiliant, but the test piece looks good IMO.

I just cut my piece off flipped piece around and 2 part epoxied it and repainted it.bettet then

Looks good either way.what u can do with 3d printing now is crazy that's for sure.
