well ive been workin away in the garage mostly on tearin stuff out. WHO NEEDS ABS? havent really came across any more surprises. but I did get a couple of things done
built my shackles for the rear. they are a bit longer than the factory's.

also pulled my hub apart since i'm gonna warranty it out (why not) and think i found what caused the hub to POP. this happened on the last trip out guess i'm lucky the hub poped or ide be lookin for more part's altho this goin than driving unknowingly smoked my inner axle seal and most likely my spindle bearings.
Luckly everything was spankin new and from the same place so i'm gonna push to have them cover all the bad part's see if they tell me to walk or help me out.

lethal threat bii is looking for some stock ttb brackets, if you don't have a use for them-- see if he's still needing some. i was gonna give him mine from the ex, but idk when i'll get my d35 up here to do so.

if they look better than the shackle lol

just placed my ruff stuff order so i should have the parts mid next week to get some actual work done on the sas. ordered my trac bar bracket, and two pair's of coil pad's. so i am gonna modify my current axle spring pads to move the coil back about 3 inche's remake the shock mount's, booty fab my factory coil bucket's to make room for the larger 5.5'' front coil. and i'm gonna need to remove my steering box and plate the frame the same as I did to the mazda to prevent the trac bar from crushing the frame like it did on the mazda as well.

and now that i'm typing this i realize that i was gonna order some tab's from them as well and completely forgot to do that. i guess i'll have to shoot them an email and have them tack em on my order.

so while i'm uploading some pics i guess i'll take some time to explain the planets aligning story.

i should be pickin up a 94 f-150 next week for free. it is a good friends truck that has been sitting for a couple years. it was his campany truck for awhile. my plans are to pull the engine, trans, t-case, wiring and everything associated with making it run for possiable a future 302 swap (swap not happening till somthing happens to the factory stuff) also planing on pulling the rear axle, and front from balljoints out.

well had a buddy call me yesterday asking if i would be intrested in a detroit locker and some 4.56 gears turns out he wants to go back to factory gearing but he's runnin a 8.8 ttb44 so if everything work's out i'm goin to trade him the stuff from my f.150 straight up for the stuff from his. and just run his 8.8 and swap the gears into my 44 since from what i'm reading the gears are the same from ttb44 to straight hp44.

nuff said pics are uploaded so stay tuned for a pic update.

finally put the rear shackles in. they are a little close to the reciever hitch but while performing the good ole bounce test they dont even come close. the factory springs have very little arch so it looks as tho if they completely flatten out they still wont touch but only time (and the rti ramp) will tell. if they do rub i'll either remove the hitch and just figure one into the bumper or shave some of the metal off the bracket since there is an excess amount.

today i yanked my front coil buckets off for modifications to house the larger 5.5'' dia coil's they do fit but not the best and had a couple incidents of them coming outta the upper bucket. i looked into EB bucket's but dont have the coin to drop on them as of now. plans are to use the ruff stuff spring plates to mount the coils into the upper bucket a little better. the pic below is showing it with the ruff stuff hold down but it's just to give an idea until the actuall plate's get here.

I also plated the frame for the trac bar bracket so once that get's here i can burn it into place. having a truck sittin in the driveway with all the stuff there make's this pretty easy plan everything out!

also drained the front diff since it had some water in the fluid and didnt really want it sittin in there too long. well look's like some rust allready started and also looks like it doesnt matter much since the pinions toast.

the buddy that has the detroit and gears stoped by and needed to swap over some tire's and was checkin to see if i was intrested in a set of wheels he had. i offered to swap his tires in trade for the rims he said no so i threw a tire back into his truck and told him to load em up. he chuckled said o.k. so i now have a spare set of wheels identical to what's on my truck jsut in a lot wose condition. nothing a wire wheel and spray paint cant fix. but whatever they are spares right?

the front hp44. the one that "JUST STOPED WORKING" on the last trip out. wish we were able to take pics but it was one of my typical spurr of the moment late night wheelin extravaganza's. tried a line thru a gnarly swamp that hasnt been tried in YEAR'S. and there is a reasone it hasnt been tried! hopefully the next persone up to that point see's the rut's and that there is still another 100 yards with no new track's thru it. broke mid trail which is about 10 miles in and another 10-15 of highway back home. I was able to finish the trail in 2wd with minimal help (considering) and spent the night at a buddies camp in the huron mountains
