Yes there is. Go to the drivers door and lift the handle and you will see where the hinge goes through a hole. Get a long screw driver and stick it in the whole. You are prying the cross brace for the lock button. It takes a minute the first time you do it. push the screw driver handle down. you want to push the cross brace up, you will see the button move when you've got it right. when you see the knob start to move but not unlock just keep the pressure on it and lift the door latch and your in. Need any more help shoot me a pm

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I saw it on 20/20 or some news show. They listed the Ranger as the easiest vehicle to break in to. Go figure

So, some day, I'll come walking back to my Ranger in a parking lot. There will be a couple teenagers sitting in it, trying to get it to run or, if they figure that out, they'll be looking at that long shift lever wondering what to do with it and when do you use the extra foot pedal?

Crossed threads are tight threads.
something like a metal coat hanger wire works better, just stick it in the hole under the door handle at an upward angle.

Mine was at the bank...where a young Latina saw me struggling and showed me the trick. There was a random piece of wire shaped metal in the bed of perfect dimensions. I was both proud and ashamed that day. And also frightened and aroused...it was indeed very intense for such a mundane errand. Life's fun like that sometimes.

I just borrow their radio antenna to poke in and unlock the door.

There are also professional locksmiths who will open any car door in less than a minute. It takes more time to open your wallet and run your card.
