I have a K&N Box Filter for my 1998 2.5L Ranger. Is there any way that I can use this filter and not have my MAF and IAC Valve get all dirty. I had this filter in at one time and it gave me problems such as dirty IAC Valves. I really want to put it back in, I have been using a Paper Napa filter for awhile. What can I do to have the K&N and keep the parts clean at the same time? Thanks

you can not over-oil your filter.

ive had a k&n in my truck for over 20,000 miles and my MAFS is still clean and dry.

people that have k&n filters have a bad habit of using WAY too much oil, and this is why everyone is under the impression that k&n's and MAFS dont get along.
