So i recently installed a 4in rough country lift kit with new rear leaf springs and im having an issue that whenever i take off no matter what it has a really bad shake throughout the whole truck but it goes away after a couple seconds. It is in the rear somewhere cant quite figure it out. Hope a certain @bobbywalter could help. Thanks in advance

My credo
If I learned from my mistakes, I'd be a genius !!
Sounds like the driveline angle on the diff may be incorrect now and putting more stress on the u-joints. But you mentioned it goes away after a few seconds? I had a Jeep Cherokee that did that after a lift and dropping the trans cross member an inch solved the vibration…but mine was felt all the time before doing that.

Thats what i was thinking but the new springs have a shim in them so it changes the angle for the diff so that shouldn't happen but idk

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Lube the slip joint in the driveline as well as the u-joints... If its possible. U-joints are old and dry and the slip joint is just dry. I'd try that first.

If it's not broken Don't Fix It!
Does yours have a carrier bearing on the drive shaft?

When carrier bearings go they give one heck of a vibration on take off then smooth out but howl at high speeds. Mine howled when I got near 70 mph as an example.

Carrier bearing is likely the issue, if it wasn't lowered with the lift it's angles are probably goofy and making it mad...

My F350 had a piece of 1" square tubing between the crossmember and the carrier bearing, there's only two bolts holding it up... they sell a spacer I'm pretty sure but just space it down...

Yea i thought that's ho mine would be judging by my buddies Toyota witch hangs down but mine is bolted directly to the crossmember so to lower it you have to lower the whole crossmember

The crossmember was riveted on my truck. So cut apart, then spacers and bolts as needed.
