Tell me you are getting the sweet tire in the bed too :yahoo:

:icon_rofl:

Heck one nice find and body looks decent... I wish my yards would let me buy whole trucks from them.
 what kind of scrap yard doesnt sell whole vehicles? :icon_confused: i think they forgot how they are supposed to actually make money.

I've only seen one 1st gen GT in all my junkyard travels. A dark blue FULLY loaded short bed. I wished I'd have taken pictures. It had a convertable top! Too bad it was so ragged out and looked like it had been sitting exposed to the weather for years....

is it possible that its one of the very very rare SHO rangers that would account for the engine being gone but i also say put a 4L in it

The SHO Ranger was a prototype. None were ever sold to the public.

Keys what you need keys for? Got title right, then just replace both door locks and ignition switch.

LOL, I am lazy, I might opt to go to the dealership and have a set cut. Time is more valuable than money for me, but I am more of a person that would rather be happy than rich.

have you ever tried to load a vehicle on a TOW DOLLY with the wheels turned left and locked into position???? and NOT wanted to bust the steering housing because you cant get them nor is is fun pulling a steering wheel to replace that and bearings??? if so, you'd know why keys are important...

pete....funny thing is a have a bunch of old 5 cut keys from all the rangers i have(had) and when i got home, rounded all of them up and actually found one that worked and turned the switch. cant believe i had that good luck....

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
That reminds me of a Ford dealership I worked at in the '80's. Any extra loose keys got put on a wire coat hanger; must've been over a hundred of them. When a car on the lot got the keys locked in it, "The Hanger" was used. Never saw them need to use a slim jim or cut new keys- The Hanger always came through.
