SHO I was just kidding about that. I really would save my suggestion for a last resort. I also wouldn't try to use a tow dolly though, if it were me I'd use a flat bed trailer and winch it up. Gusee you gotta use what ya got though. We have a flat bed, but no tow dolly.

So how's the Ranger GT looking?!?! I wanna see some better pictures!! LOL

Why not put a 5.0 in it? lol

Ben
I to am interested in seeing how it sits now assuming you got it home.

The original motor and transmission are gone, with no real chance of finding it, so no way it can be a numbers matching vehicle. With that in mind and since you've got to come up with a drive train for it anyway I'd put in a 302 backed by a TKO500 with mid-shift. With that combo you should be able to give it the power it should have had stock, and retain stock look on the inside.

Ive messed with it a little. been working 6 days, kids have/had basketball/baseball, and i just poured me a concrete slab beside the garage and put a roof over it, and got me a air compressor. just needing to get it hooked up. so other than just giving it a once over, finding house carpet was the new choice of flooring, held down by sheet metal screws every 6", that has been my extent of anything so far. if i do try to put it back on the road though, it will either be 5.0 with AOD, or a 4.0 V6 with a 5 sp.......
