It might be good to add a note that Duff does now build a kit specifically for 98+ trucks, product code 5306

Article is good to show the differences between the two kits though.

I may inquire at some point if they will kitbash and sell a "kit" with the older front brackets and the rear brackets for a 31 spline 8.8 (which is included in the 98+ kit)

I inquired about the kitbash thing, never heard anything back and never pursued it farther.

I instead removed the factory 4wd lift block on my Ranger to reduce spring wrap.

I have them on my 2011.

Worth the money.

The 98+ kit fits the 2011 with the Bronco brackets (included). 2009-2011 ranger uses a 31 spline 8.8 tube with 28 spline axles.

I would imagine they help to stiffen the sway bar and calm things down on washboard roads.

By quite a bit as well.

My situation is a bit different than @85_Ranger4x4 - 1750 lb springs, late model low profile blocks, lift shackle, 4° axle wedge, B2 2wd sway bar. But, they help a great deal.

The earlier kit has a different front bracket and only comes with the smaller axle bracket.

I took your advice. Yup, worth it for me at least. The shifts are smoother and I get improved traction on rougher surfaces. Thanks!

Theyre quite good overall. Tight corners with them and a LSD with the Mustang track clutches makes for a more better driving experience
