built her in a storage unit
there is a throttle body spacer plate made by aFe for the pushrod 4.0 that claims "Silver Bullet throttle body spacers create turbulence in the air flow at the point just prior entry into the engine increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response and fuel efficiency. Silver Bullet throttle body spacers are constructed out of durable T-6061 billet aluminum and using a unique serrated/helix entry to create turbulence at the manifold while eliminating the annoying whistle found in other helix only throttle spacers." its's actually a cool little kit with an aftermarket throttle cable bracket, do these things work/do anything at all? and have any of yall checked this out? i

It is only a placebo. You can just send your extra money to me and it will have the same effect to you.

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Google your way into some technical articles or threads on engineering forums about intake volume.

The spacer will do something, whether or not it's worth the price of admission is the question.

On EFI motors, it’s a gimmick. It can also screw up fuel mapping and all because the computers were programmed for the factory intake volumes. EFI tends to perform better with smoother air flow until after the injectors

On carburetor motors, it can make a big difference in performance because it would come after the fuel is added instead of before, which can help with atomization

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
My dad has this kit on his 5.4 F-150. Along with a crappy cai by Spectre (?). He has a few issues that he can't pin point. I told him that for him to figure out the issues, get it back to stock and go from there. He says " But all that stuff was expensive, if I take it off, I've wasted my money", and I said, " You're money was wasted whenever you bought that crap". I'm not his favorite person right now

Regular Fernco, the MAF is agreeably close in size to 3”, but the throttle body is not
