I sold the 2.0 intake that have in the picture to a guy who made an adaptor plate to a Holley 350 cfm 2bbl on it, and it's on a 2.3, and works fine. It is possible for a 88 Ranger to have a 2.0 in it originally, 88 was the last year for the Ranger 2.0.

I'm dredging this back up as I had a question about manifolds. I have access to a 1986 EFI Ranger intake manifold. I was wondering if I could use it with my 5200 carb. It looks like it would require an adapter as there are four holes instead of a plenum type thing, which isn't a big deal. From the photos I've been able to find, it looks like the manifolds are made to fit on a D-port head. My head is round port, so wouldn't that cause issues?
