alright... anyone have a iphone 4 on iOS 5 or newer jailbroken?

i wanna know if the siri download thing for the iPhone 4 works or not... if it does i might update my phone to 5.0 and then rejailbreak it....

Yeah won't let me do it with 5.0, there is a jailbreak for 5.1 and 5.1.1, but they are tethered, and with how much my phone has been crashing lately, I don't know if I can trust it...

Tethered means that of my phone turns off or dies or something, I need a computer to reboot it... And I am unclear if it has to have the software to jailbreak, and/or iTunes, or none of the above

I'm fairly good with the phone not dying... I've also got chargers everywhere, including home, truck, and the local bar, yes, they have a phone charger for me... Lol

Turns out its actually a SEMI tethered jailbreak, so if it dies, I can reboot with limited functionality, essentially no jailbreak stuff, and no email... Phone and text work though... So I'm going to be doing this here in the next couple hours...

yes sir it is, you can semi tether it though... though if you are using an unlock, DO NOT DO IT!

Only problem when mine crashes tethered on 3.4.3 is it won't run safari. Everything else works. I'm crashed right now. Too lazy to plug in to comp.

why are you running tethered 3.4.3? the untethered break for that should have come out over 2 years ago
