I bought this 1995 Splash (4.0L 4x4 I put a dual exhaust on it) from a buddy in Florida for my daughter (she put a "chalkboard" on back) and the Sapphire Blue was sun-bleached almost purple. So she named it Grape and it's stuck. I've been driving it now for about 4 years and it made it to California and back from NC in 2019. I may do a Mad Max treatment on it since the kids had banged it up a bit. It's got about 150,000 on it, steering leaks, different electrical issues, intermittent AC and temperamental transmission, etc but I like to drive it almost every day.

Hello. Welcome to the site.

The Grape looks good to me. Not jammed at all.

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
The chalkboard on the cover would be something my daughter would do...

Cool story and glad you still have it. Take care of it before it gets to far out of whack... it will be around for another 150K.

Welcome to TRS...

Thank you! My daughter always had a bucket of chalk in the truck and her friends (now, this was when they were late teens and early 20s) would always write or draw something on it. Fun idea!
