No. Rusty hasnt taken on a new career.

We have lots of threads about what we hate about vehicles, or mechanical options and things, but what about favorite interiors?

Post up 3 of your favorite (factory) interiors, with pics, excluding rangers. Curious to see what others like...

Heres mine...

It’s got 2 throttle pedals... it’s really fast, so fast it needs a second go pedal.

Or dead pedal/ foot rest.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

The tach is the easy part, it is the speedometer that gets complicated.

The 420 pictured is too wimpy, needs more levers and knobs:

I really actually like my first gen Ranger's interior:

I wish there was room for bucket seats and a good console, they fixed that in '86 though.

Wrangler/Gladiator dashes feel somewhat similar, they are not huge mountaints of plastic like most newer vehicles. They are minimalist and tucked up against the firewall like a first gen Ranger/BII:

They all have one too many steering wheels for me :)
Valid point, my steering wheel-less option:

My vote for the worst... 86 series IH tractors:

The door opens like a car door from the front which is awkward and then it always wants to close on you as you try to get thru the oddly shaped opening and hurdle the giant clunky transmission/range shifters that stick up RIGHT IN THE DOORWAY and non tip up steering wheel. For added flair they had the ugly fake leather "Western Interior" as an option.

Need to replace the starter? It is "easily" accessed thru a 8" diameter hole in the side of the dash.

Aftermarket companies did make tilt steering kits and kits to make the door hing at the back like most other tractors.
