So was just looking at 2007 2.3l Ranger wiring diagram

To my surprise the fuel injectors don't get 12volts from PCM relay anymore, they get it from Fuel Pump relay

Diagram below

In Previous years the FP relay was only activated for 2 seconds key on and then wouldn't activate again until engine started(above 400rpm)
Obviously that wouldn't work out to well if injectors were powered by fuel pump relay, lol

So I guess FP relay now activates when cranking engine over

Just a heads up for diagnosing a No Start

Yeah, they can get away with that now because the grounds for all those components are controlled by the PCM, so you can get them all hot and then ground them as needed.

I was trying to help some one with a 2007 2.3l Ranger with a No Start issue, and he didn't have 12v at the injectors with key on
So there's the problem, for sure..........................NOT, lol
