I've got a stock 2009 2wd xlt ranger and am in need of help sizing my tires. I've heard that you can put 31s on it with no lift and rubbing, so that's the size I'm going for. the tires that are currently are on there are L215/75R15. I don't know how to size a tire to fit it on my rim, and would appreciate the help. Preferably getting a BGF T/A KO2 if that helps with sizing. Any help wpuld be greatly appreciated!!!!

You'd be after a 31x10.5, but the 2wd sits lower than a 4x4, so I wold be very sure of this before buying tires just to find out they don't fit properly because you looked at info for a 4x4.

you didn't say anything about new wheels. assuming you are keeping your wheels, what width are they?
most 31x10.5-15 tires require a 7" wheel as minimum, 8 would be better.

what's your rear axle gear ratio? a 3.73 won't be very happy with 31s.

I have 31s with 3.73s, and it isn't bad, especially with the 4.0. My truck came stock with a 2.9, 215/75/15 and 3.45 gears. 215/75/15s with 3.45s and 31x10.50s with 3.73 is roughly the same final drive ratio. I notice the difference more when stopping than starting.
