If you have a 2008 Ranger with a 4.0.... SEND HELP

I'm in California and my truck wont pass smog due to a missing "VECI" Label. I've been desperately trying to find one with no luck. Ford doesn't manufacture them anymore and only a collision center or body shop can order aftermarket ones. I went to a collision center to try and have them order one but they need the old one for a reference. I'm S.O.L. and don't know what to do. This truck is my daily driver and I've been driving on expired tags to get to work. If anyone out there is kind enough to send me a photo of theirs so i can have a collision center order me a label to smog my truck i would be extremely thankful. I hope someone out there, that's willing to help, finds this. Thank you.

Oh wow that's horrible. I don't have a label on my truck either. I didn't bother when I replaced the radiator core support. No emissions testing or inspections here. No cats, no mufflers, no side mirrors, who cares here.. .
It's probably time to move to another state. Sadly California is lost. Most people deserve what you are getting there, a small percentage do not deserve it...

Seriously is the Ford dealership with a collision shop able to help? If not hopefully someone else can. Sorry.

The sad part is that everything (emissions related) is there and functional. Both cats, muffler, all evap components, no check engine light. The truck runs great too.
I’ve had to go as far as reaching out to the DMV and CARB to see what other options I have.
All this because of a label.

Try writing your state rep.
It might not help your problem but it maybe cure your wish to vote

Does anybody have a picture of one of these stickers?
Can you replicate your own from pictures using a printer?
Apply it under a smooth layer of clear packing tape.
Perhaps you can also use this picture at Ford parts counters (to show 'em what you need with as few words as possible)?

Why can't you use your picture of yours? I don't know if mine even has one. Contact your state representative ask them to correct it

Well that complicates things. Not only do they require a photo but the order needs to be from a body shop also. I wonder if the OP ever found a solution?
