Just a quick overview of what im working with!
2000 ford ranger 4.0 W/ 5 speed. New clutch, fuel pump, Bored .30 over (no i didn't punch out the original block, its a kit), New alternator, plugs/wires, 160 degree thermostat, Cold air intake, Dumped Flowmaster 40. yada yada YAHH right....
ANYWAY:
Truck runs superb, but lets say im cruzin in any given gear and throw it in neutral for any given reason... The idle will stay up at 2k rpms, and sometimes higher with the A/C on. Unless i kick it at a light it will drop Instantly. Or if i wait long enough it will slowly come down by itself. Throttle body is not sticking i already checked it. Im thinking Vacuum leak at this point? Thoughts guys :/
