The snake oil thread got me thinking of a project I've always wanted to do. Take a bunch of gummed up nasty old fuel injectors and run them on a bench test with different off the shelf cleaners to see if they actually improve any. The plan is to take a 5 gallon container with a pump, mix gasoline and the recommended amount of several different injector cleaners through them 1 by 1 and check out the before and after of each one. I just need nasty injectors. I could spend a day at the junkyard pulling a million injectors 1 by 1 but I figured I'd see I'd anyone here had an old disgusting motor laying out back in a heap with cruddy injectors you dont need itll save me some time.
