I swapped the IAT with rusty #1. It wasnt gummed up. The original one was.

Could that cause the shaky idle on both trucks?

It could, but not super likely.

I've never had a 2.9 idle super smooth. Honestly, I think the rotating assembly on them was light enough that there should have been a balance shaft like the V4 had.
