Hello,
I am new here. I have a '93 XLT 3.0 4x4 with manual everything. It's my baby, attached is an image if you are interested.

Pros:
-Manual transmission, hi low, hand crank windows, manual seats, I love it.
-Completely rust free. (A big deal for WI. Truck lived in MT most of its life.)
-Totally awesome

Cons
-Sucked fiberglass mouse nest into engine. Engine still runs...............
-Needs valve cover gasket replacements, water pump, and serpentine belt while I am in there? Anything else I should do at the same time?
-Terrible tire wear on insides of both front tires, alignment and/or suspension issue. Gonna need new front tires at least.

Any other upkeep advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

welcome!!

truck looks great. do the suspension stuff, throw some tires on, ready to rock and roll.

my truck is the same style, manual everything. i like it.

the wife wants me to get a new truck, for some reason, but keep the ranger too. the one i found that i like is also manual everything, which is weird for a 2021. its a jeep truck though. i couldn't find manual everything new rangers or mavericks, which were my first choices.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome!

Seems like finding manual everything is getting harder and harder, I am glad at least someone is doing it. My other ride is a 1946 Willys CJ2A (?) civilian version. That jeep rocks... I don't know anything about the newer ones though. My buddy had a late 2000's that went through 4 or 5 transmissions under warranty. Then he got a Taco Ma.
