Push the rod in all the way with the bleeder open. Close the bleeder then add fluid then pump a million times, bleed, repeat. Maybe you just have air in it. Or the clutch doesn't have enough adjustment. Thats all I can think of beside the master cylinder and slave have too much of a difference in the bore sizes.
