My idea of Hurricane prep is putting an umbrella over the boat and making sure the grill is secured and the cooler stocked.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

No need for hurricane prep here. We do get tornadoes though. They usually do minor damage. Maybe take down a barn or blow down trees someplace. We had one that went backwards (from the SE to the NW) about 15 years ago. It stripped the roofs off of a bunch of houses, destroyed the raincover things over the gas pumps as a Shell station, then blew out the windows in some cars in grocery store parking lot. I gone out storm chasing. Once I got within about a quarter of a mile of one that stalled over a rice field. I couldn't get closer because of the road system out there. Anyway, the tornado suddenly dissipated and about three minutes later a lot of water and pieces of grass, sticks, and small debri came raining down on me. I think it picked up the crap floating in the rice field and it all came back down on me when it died.

California regularly rains crap on ALL of it's citizens... That's all it's good for really.
Says someone who lives in IL where the rate of residents leaving is more than twice that of California.

That's fake. I know it is because I'm a cartographer. Besides, Mexicans are leaving California. Partially due to immigration policies, and partially due to the cost of living and a job market that is shifting towards technology. The ones that aren't going to Mexico are going to Texas. Been to San Antonio lately? Most of that city is Mexican.

But since you insist on being obnoxious, I'm going to tell the ones here that are thinking of leaving that you like Mexican food because it makes you fart more (read that as you are full of hot air).

It really varies by city. But for Mexican food, the best is in places like the Fresno or Southern California. But I think food overall is fresher than it is in some other parts of the country because a lot of it is grown nearby. Meats are usually good too.

I prep by not living near the coast. The further in land, the better!
