The "conversion kit" is just the two lock nuts and washer, yes you can just swap the parts across no problem

Aren't D28 hubs smaller than D35 and don't cross? Unless the 86 has a D35 in it, which someone would of had to swap, they won't work on your D35 that is in your 92 ranger.

The Tech Library is assembled by category but it's a beast of information.

We do also try to move information around in the forums in an attempt to keep topic organized. It's a bit of a challenge. All we can do is try.

When you can't search it... ask it. Someone is pretty much always there to help.

Crap, somehow I missed the '86 part of the question last night... that's a Dana 28 and the hubs and lock nuts will NOT fit on the Dana 35 on the '92

Ok, yeah, if junkyarding all you have to do is grab the hubs and take off the locknuts, I have a couple extra sets for "just in case" purposes hanging around somewhere but all my junk is strewn about all over...
