Hey guys, I'm about ready to paint my 87' extended cab ranger including the door jambs (not painting the inside of the box) and was wondering if a gallon of paint would be enough?
Thanks

thanks guys, with the paint being $250 a gallon (for green paint at that) I was hoping a gallon would do. Looks like it will.

if your primer is a similar color you need less top coats to "hide".what brand of paint will you use?the napa cross fire urethane single stage is about 200 for a gallon of color, reducer and hardener.they can mix the color you want at the store also.it is good paint also.

When we did my truck I used a product called U-Tech. It sprays a lot like Endura and has been a pretty tough coating thus far.

Endura is Tough as Hell.....But again, sprays differently than a lot of other products.

In the past we used a LOT of Centauri. Good product, but not as durable in my opinion....

I'm no painter, but I've been involved with about 3 dozen paint jobs on the side.....Just my $0.02

I think I'd use the U-Tech again, knowing now what to watch for when applying it....last time we did a rush job and got a few sags....practice makes perfect though.
