Well with no traffic on the roads..........................you would be speeding, lol
And if you weren't speeding and I was cop I would pull you over to see WHY you weren't speeding, dead body in the trunk, transporting drugs, a democrat, ect..............
I don't speed regardless of traffic. Cheaper that way.

Any one not speeding is trying to avoid getting pulled over.......................so what are they hiding???

Full stop at a stop sign, pull them over, they must be drunk, high or running drugs

About half of the stations here will turn on the pump when you pull up, the other half you have to go in and give them cash "first". Guess which type is my favorite one?

There's nothing to hide, abide by the laws and do what you are supposed to be doing and the cops leave you alone, and if they're not they're harassing you and its a very good court case and very easy to win too. I've got nothing to hide, and no reason to speed either. I get where I'm going those that go flying by me I usually find in the ditch a few miles up the road, or at the next stop light.

I second Saddle Tramp, Virginia pulls a ton of money from speeders.

If you're in traffic, don't be the fastest driver, nor the most accessible one.
If you're alone on the road, do 2-3 miles over the limit, steady.

Don't wear your Rasta hat, they hate that.

I try to stick to the 10% rule... no more than 10% over the posted speed limit. It doesn’t always work out.

5 over unless I see radar enforced signs, then speed limit.

It hasn’t caught me yet but they like to drop the speed limit right before the camera. So if you are doing 5 over bam you are doing 10 over and you get fan Mail.

Stupid Sioux City... I hate running that gauntlet.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
My daughter used to live just outside Philadelphia, the speed limit on 95 is 55 mph and if you go much under 80 you'll get run over. Going 80 in a 65 zone here will get you an expensive ticket for sure.

I see your point with cash but most gas stations charge 10 cents or so more per gallon to use credit. Yea I'm being a cheapskate but with a 2,000+ mile trip in a loaded pickup truck that crap will add up.

Plus I'm a 6' 230 pound guy who hasn't showered or trimmed my beard since the Bush administration. Most people tend to stay far away from me... :icon_rofl:
Shell gives you their "cash" price if you use their card. And rewards. They also have some supermarket rewards thing...

CHP's told me keep it under 80, which is pretty much the flow of traffic on CA interstates, unless its traffic, which is more often than not.

There's some 70mph posted limits out near the borders...

Back in the days you could ask them to just open the pump, then pay after....but if paying cash, I've always just walked in to hand a rounded up amount, then go back in for change...sometimes spend it on smokes or snacks...it works out.

Clean your room before you criticise the world.
I drive Rt 8 through akron to work everyday. It's posted 55 but the flow is everywhere from 80mph to 50mph. Doesn't matter someone will still blow by you.

Our local store is about a mile from the high school, on days when there are games the visitor busses always stop there on the way home and the place is mobbed. He didn't have pay-at-the-pump, so after I gassed up I went inside, waved at him and told him I'd come back later to pay. He gave me a thumbs up and I left, came back in about 45 minutes and paid for my gas.
Our dealer used to hide keys in cars so customers could pick them up late and they'd leave a check in out drop box. The checks didn't bounce, either. vThe world would work better if people could be trusted.
