Update. With the information y'all gave me I looked in the owner's manual and luckily my late sister-in-law wrote down the radio code. Although again the radio won't come up with Enter Code on the display, it's blank and nothing happens. It did come up when my wife drove it. Went to Auto Zone for a new battery tonight, reasoning that the old one was weak from being dead. Auto Zone guy did say that they can go into anti-theft mode when the battery goes completely dead. So far with the new battery the radio still isn't giving me Enter Code but maybe if it sits all night with a fresh battery it will work. I may drive it to work tomorrow and see if that helps.

Its beyond me why a car manufacturer would give a damn if the factory radio was stolen. My ‘82 mercury zephyr had a factory 8 track. Might of been the very first anti-theft radio.

Depends where you are. I work in a strip plaza in the suburbs north of Pittsburgh and on hot days I leave the windows down on my truck and don't lock it. In that part of town I'm The Poor. Bobby Rahal's Lotus, Bentley, Volvo, Land Rover, and Infiniti dealerships are a half-mile down the road.

Owner's manual is with the car but she bought it used. I'll look for it. Google tells me that you can go to Honda's website, enter the VIN and radio serial number, and get the code. Again, seems like overkill to me now that pretty much every car uses a different radio. Back in the day I knew people who soldered razor blades to the bottom of their under-dash 8-track players.

Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
Factory Stereos are still better than a lot of crap in the aftermarket world. Usually built by Pioneer or Sony in the first place, and engineered for the car they are in. Even Rockford Fosgate has been in the factory head unit game for over a decade now. Bose have been in Nissans since at least the 90's. Some cars had Alpine HU's from the factory. Used car dealerships want/prefer the original equipment over some aftermarket junk with the wires taped together that shut off every time you cross a RR track.
