Hi everybody. My 2000 3.0/auto 4x4 makes a chirping/exhaust leak type sound at high rpm's. As in when it downshifts for a hill and the revs go over 4000. Probably an exhaust leak? I've been searching the site here and the only reference I've found to such a problem is the current thread about the CPS, though I have no reason to believe it's the same. I'm just wondering if other 3.0 owners have experienced such a thing and if there is any knowledge here on the subject. From the driver's seat, the noise seems to come from the rear of the driver's side exhaust manifold. EGR, perhaps...any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
