Im building kind of a sleeper little DD Ranger. I buy older and low and eventually sell high but for now its just a fun little run around truck. I have quite a bit of experience in the DIY vehicle customization scene, buying and flipping, im very mechanically inclined- especially thanks to YouTube and im pretty decent when it comes to welding and fabricating. So my plans are to optimize everything including the Suspension. I have my eyes set on some used AutoFab forged beams that I intend to only extend 2-2.5 inchs or so, in order to gain some lift with the bent beams and regain some factory like track width. I don't want to have to run glass in order to remain more sleeper and less bro. Extended radius arms for smoother and a broader articulation and controlled and adjusted with coil overs. The rear will consist of an Explorer 8.8 swap with 456 gears and a rebuilt factory LSD, 64in chevy spring swap, flipped shackles and ill do what ever I can to keep some somewhat basic rear shocks under the bed of the truck for simplicity and full use of the bed. It wanted the 2.3 5 Speed for reliability and it'll still be fun yet economical compared to all of my other Hot Rod Fords. Let me know if you're interested in following along via a YouTube Vlog. My InstaG is @Speed_Scholar

Loads of Ranger specific info by "been there, done that" members

Reads like you got some great plans

You can start a build thread, or two or three, lol, for specific upgrades or post links to specific Ranger videos, I think thats allowed

Its a long drive, But I have a 91 f450 custom truck I rescued from the scrap heap, has a 7.3L non turbo. 5 speed, dually it's as far as I can tell one of five and the only survivor I'll get pics one of these days, they are on my cell. Central Texas, Ft Hood area. Its mechanically sound just needs some light body and interior work (two things I'd rather not do myself) has custom cab/sleeper, and custom bed. Gets alot of attention
