Im building kind of a sleeper little DD Ranger. I buy older and low and eventually sell high but for now its just a fun little run around truck. I have quite a bit of experience in the DIY vehicle customization scene, buying and flipping, im very mechanically inclined- especially thanks to YouTube and im pretty decent when it comes to welding and fabricating. So my plans are to optimize everything including the Suspension. I have my eyes set on some used AutoFab forged beams that I intend to only extend 2-2.5 inchs or so, in order to gain some lift with the bent beams and regain some factory like track width. I don't want to have to run glass in order to remain more sleeper and less bro. Extended radius arms for smoother and a broader articulation and controlled and adjusted with coil overs. The rear will consist of an Explorer 8.8 swap with 456 gears and a rebuilt factory LSD, 64in chevy spring swap, flipped shackles and ill do what ever I can to keep some somewhat basic rear shocks under the bed of the truck for simplicity and full use of the bed. It wanted the 2.3 5 Speed for reliability and it'll still be fun yet economical compared to all of my other Hot Rod Fords. Let me know if you're interested in following along via a YouTube Vlog.
