ight so i took a trip totaling about 80 miles, when i got back from that i shut my truck off and came back about ten minutes later, this is when the problem starts. I started it up and it it was hesitating between 250 and 500 rpms then it killed. So i tryed to crank it back back up but it wouldn't start. i checked for loose plugs and all that good stuff but could not find anything. then i came back in the morning and it fired right up no problems.

it has given me some hesitation problems before but i was always able to start it right up.

so just wondering what might be the cause of this.

When it wouldn't start, would it run if you held the throttle a little bit open?

Mine was giving me problems similar to yours, I still haven't completely diagnosed it yet but I think it was the IAC. Mine has been running good lately since that happened, so I haven't dealt with it yet.

from the time my truck was brand new till i put 40k on it (now at 45k) i wud have starting problems when ever my truck was not quite all the way warm. like it wud start fine when cold but if i ran it for like a few minutes and shut it off and then tried to re start, it would crank for like 4-5 seconds before starting. but ever since i hit around 40,000 its been starting amazing all the time. :yahoo:
