Hi guys,

My name is Enzo, 23yo from France.

I'm the new owner of this Ranger "Splash" 1995 since november 2018, 2.3l SOHC in, imported from Canada a fews years ago.
It's been paint by an old owner, who just destroy the look of it... Hate dat look but well... It's on now. It was Yellow basically

Actually no more rollbar, black band on top of the windshield, no more added lights.

I do have fews issues with.. some electronics problems from the owner before me who was a real a**hole, the chassis is a little bit bent, but it doesn't change the way the truck ride, so I think i'll let it like that. It will cost me more than the price I bought the truck to get the chassis fixed (from behind you can see the right side of the bed is lower, pic on)
If someone know how I could get my tailgate centered?

Anyway still a good (slow) truck with a look I really like. European trucks are so ugly, I've always loved american car, the look, the sound. It's a little dream I bought.

Sorry if I do mistake with my English, I don't use a Translator.

This was the day I add it back home:

Your English is fine. Better than a lot of the American born english I see....lol.
Take a look at the body to frame bushings. Maybe you can shim the low spot.

Hello Enzo, welcome to TRS :) I live in Central time here in Oklahoma, you're about 7 hours ahead it so expect similar to that in the expectations of your posts. Your messages appear to be better than those who use translators so don't think twice about that, but be aware some who don't understand it may at times get impatient, and you might not like their answers anyway.

I can't be much help with your chassis but I'm certain there are some here who can, as well as anything else it needs work with.
Again, welcome to TRS, and I really liked PJ's "Vive Le Ranger!" haha

Have you checked the leaf spring hangers.... Those are common to fail and just about all those 90's rangers needed them replaced after 5-10 years. That license plate is HUGE. Could serve a turkey on that thing.

I'll check that yes ;)

VIVE LE RANGER!
Ahah actually made my day

All the mounts, shocks and bushings from the suspension system need to be replaced. So yes I hope it's one of those. But when I removed the bed the other day, I've tried to check but no one look really bend or anything, just pretty rusty ahah!
It's a piece of joy this truck but for me it's expansive to fix it, generally parts come from US and the shipping cost almost the same than just the parts so it's like I pay twice ^^

Yes I could, it's perfect for Thanksgiving :LOL: I wish I could live outside the France, they are just so dump here.. License plate are ugly and massive. We can't do anything on our cars it's frustrating

Well, thanks everybody for the welcoming!

Welcome,
The tailgate is an easy fix. The part you need is called a Tailgate Hinge Insert Kit, they are less than $10 US dollors. Little plastic pieces that fit into the hinge of the tailgate keep it centered.

The other thing is if you're in need of parts, feel free to post on here with a wanted ad. Most of us have a parts pile sitting around, and you may be able to save quite a few euros versus ebay, etc.

Bienvenue Enzo! I own a '90 Bronco which I think I will take with me to France some day, to our place in Guyonvelle near Langres in Haut-Marne. You are in Artois?
