help with pulley and belts

i have an 89 ranger with a 84 5.0 in it all im looking to run is the waterpump and the altenator i need help finding a delte kit or a belt setup anyone got something that works thanks?

Should work fine with any alt bracket.
I've seen reverse rotation water pumps used, too (serp belt) just barely touching the bottom of the water pump pulley.

But I'll guess yours is standard rotation, so I see no probs.

does it help if i told you the water pump turned counterclockwise and the alternator is mounted on the passengerside? is it ok that it only touch alittle bit?:icon_confused:

If you put a slightly larger pulley on the alternator it would give you a little more contact with the pump pulley. you could also try moving the alternator a little to improve contact.
