Well looks like I’ll be selling my Ranger soon😢. It’s been a great Truck but I have way to many projects and no extra time. I’ve had several people interested and asking how much but I really don’t know a fair price. I really don’t need to sell and I’m in no rush but I also hate to see it just sit. Here’s the specs best I can remember.
95 136k 4.0 regular cab. 5spd Step side 4x4
Drive train: fx4 II rear axle swap and Spartan lunch box locker in the front 4.10 gearing solid diff cover. Warn locking hubs
Interior: Racing bucket seats and rubber diamond plate flooring ( it’a not a 100% perfect install) removed the radio and made a large storage cubby in dash.
Engine: Electric fan on a shut off switch. I have a thermostat shut off that isn’t installed. Cold air intake from Banks . Brand new die hard battery largest that would fit and higher capacity alternator. Upgraded distributor wires and plugs forget brand. Just flushed the radiator and replace thermostat 2 weeks ago. New PA inspection. Under drive pulley and new gates belt to fit not installed.
Suspension: Skyjacker 6” lift full kit with added drop shackles. Longer pitman arm then came with kit?
I’ve been using hub adaptors so I can run my old 17” jeep rims with 34” tires. Reworked the front bumper to hide a 12k winch and made a custom flush rear bumper. I’m sure I’m forgetting somethings. I’ll post up some pics and take more when I get a chance. Frame is very solid no patches and bed is fiberglass. It was a southern truck up till 6-7 years ago. Please lmk what you think. If it’s not worth much I’d rather keep it or give it to a nephew for cheap etc. Body is kinda pin striped from offroading. I was gonna bedline the whole thing but haven’t gotten the time. I’ve probably only put about 1,500 miles on it in the last 1-1/2yrs. Lmk what you guys think

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Things to think about. Mileage, rust (if any), price of "comparable" rangers in your area.

You want a fair price for your vehicle, the potential buyer wants a fair price or even a screamin' deal.

Things to add to your price; receipts of general maintenance, receipts of replaced parts, photos of upgrades things done (if you have more images like the ones above print them on paper), give the vehicle a good bath, wax it, etc.

If I see a vehicle for sale and see that its covered in mud/dirty/etc. I see a vehicle that has been "abused" off-road and do I want to inherit the PO problems which is why he/she is selling it.

The key is you want to make money, the buyer wants a steal, and what is going to make both parties happy. + its a sellers market right now.

Thanks I’m having a hard time finding any comparable Ranger in my area. They are all rusted out and have 200k plus miles on them. Pics are just what I happened to have on my phone. I will do better if and when I decide to do a for sale post. Thanks for the pointers

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I'd probably put it up for 5k.

Perfect wheeling rig, while still being streetable. Don't see too many 4x4 reg cabs.. especially with the stepside.. 5 speed is a huge plus

We’ll that clears it up lol. :ROFLMAO: No way I’m selling for less than 2k or putting in a automatic. I know it only worth what I can get out of it. I was just hoping someone could mention anything similar in the NE they’ve seen sell recently. I can’t seem to find anything close.

Thanks took me a while to find and build. I’ve just switched to doing more offroading in atvs since it’s easier to find places to ride around here.
