So. I picked up a 91 ranger just to cruise the powerline and play in the mud. After lots of work (only paid a couple hundred for it) I am ready to take it to a poker run/mud run this coming weekend. I was going to name it Oscar the grouch because there was so much garbage left in it, it looked like a garbage can. However, kid called it "kind of an ugly ducking aint it?" and I thought that would be funny too.
However, what else? Here's a couple pic's.
Its a 4L with a manual 5 spd. Dana 35/8.8, 3:55 gears, open rearend. It could only be 16ft maximum in length to fit my toy hauler/motorhome so I pulled the box, cut the frame off behind the shackles, pulled the front bumper and installed four D rings for WHEN I get buried with the little 215's. Where I'm going has a set of 33's I can put on for the weekend but to fit in the hauler I'll have to swap back to the 215's.
Anyway....name....(and piece of rusty shit is not a real name even if it is dead on...)
