well back before it was easy to do segment swaps if something was in the same base family....


you can take tach signal and hook up a tps...map....temp sensors and speed sensors ect....to the eec unit and it will still shift the trans.

sometimes splitting the signals alter them enough there are running issues...i have not done the 4r55 in that application so i do not know what will happen

Yea, I mean that's more of something I'd have to look into, do you have any info on how that's done?? Was attempting to take the day off today then some customer had to stop by. I hate working from home sometimes

i dont have a system here with me. in pa junkyards are scarce around me where i am working....ohio is worse.

i have my b2, but it is a stick....pretty sure it has an auto computer from a 94 explorer though.

its not hard just have to wire it up. which is a pia.

Hmm, that's cool, have to find a diagram. I would to switch to obd2 , or maybe get a stand alone

Well....you just make the factory system stand alone and parallel the systems...

Not always possible though.
