This was my baby I wrecked a few years back and looking to repaint my current ranger. Any ideas what color blue this is or if it's just a custom paint job? Midnight regatta blue, medium regatta blue, dark shadow blue, midnight blue, or something else entirely? It's a 1986 if that helps

My credo
Why should I pay someone else to screw it up when I can screw it up myself for free?
Looks a lot like Shadow Blue Metallic but hard to tell in the Oregon gloom.

Unfortunately I wrecked the truck a few years back and only have the vin but good to know I ordered some silver touchup paint a while back and pretty much guessed. It did have a metal flake so it could be shadow blue metallic, seems like every website and old catalogs have different colors. Thanks for the help and info, here's a few more gloomy photos

Just my opinion, it is custom. Which could be endless. I say this because I haven't seen any other two tone Ranger/BII that the fender was done like that. All two tones I have seen were straight lines from front to rear. This looks like it was painted to replicate a 70's style. Although yours looked very good, I don't think it was factory.

Here's the factory lines, compared to yours which is encased and rolled on the edges.

FYI throw some pics of the new truck up! Or start a build thread of the progress! Good luck finding the right color you want!
