I am an old guy. 53yo. I have a 2007 Ranger purchased new.
Mainly it has been used as transportation but with 2 kids coming into the picture. A 4 door car came along. The pickup has become less used and sets mostly.
We started gardening and so has hauled 2 loads of sand and that with my pickup bed trailer on back to. Also about 12 loads truck and trailer of dirt and 2 loads gravel!!!! Who would have thought a light weight pickup could ever be a heavy hauler. Takin it slow when heavy loaded.
Anyway, its been a good little pickup over the years. having a few minor issues and wanting to fix them. also thinking of a brake up grade and maybe a locker for the rear. etc.
