HELLO im a New Ford owner of a 1995 F 150 ExtCab Flareside

I have had this truck for no more than 3 months and the manual transmission locked up in 4th gear, So considering that its now toasted and I am now looking to put in another m5r2 transmission. So my question is that does any M5odr2 fit From 88 to 08. Or does it have to be that generation that will work for my 95 flareside. F 150 2wheel drive? Also does it have to be from a 4x2 since it is a 2 wheel drive or does the 4x4 work as well. So it will be easier to find at the junk yard or onlne/ thanks

You have to use a 2wd transmission.

The bellhousing on the transmission is made into the transmission casting. So you have to find a transmission with the proper bellhousing pattern.
