Quick shout out to the new community. Have been wanting to get back into a truck for a while now. Finally settled on a 94 Ranger xlt with 129000 miles. Love the truck and it needs lots of love from me and all of ya'al. Talk to ya later in the threads.

Hey I'm new and from TN too. Got a 96 2.3 5 speed that needs some love but I'm new to really tearing into a project and I think this truck and the community here is a great place to start

I was all around Nashville for almost 20 years, loved it out there. My 93 had 234K when I bought it in 2006 so 129K shouldn't be a problem. Not sure about the 2.3 but I think they're all good engines.

Almost through the entire Ranger era Ford was overbuilding them to better compete with the foreign market That's the very reason as my 87 began to wane and I was planning a hard move, needing a stronger truck the only thing I looked under was Ford pickups , F150 and Rangers.

Got really fortunate on mine too, tho anything wears out in time, at least these are not that difficult and parts are not too awful hard to find
